The built environment - the buildings where we live, work, study, heal, and worship - consume an inordinate amount of energy, water and materials, and generate a large percentage of green house gas emissions. Plateau Enviro Associates' green building consulting services help owners developers, architects, designers, builders and maintenance staff incorporate the sustainable design features that product high performance green buildings.

Research on green homes and commercial projects across the country prove that green buildings can be completed at a cost close to that of a non-green project. The key is to integrate sustainable design features as early in the project as possible, and to involve all members of the design/build team in the process.
